I am a proud grammy from Indiana. Last year, about this time, we got a call that no parent or grandparent wants to hear, your daughter is in jail, someone needs to get the kids!!!

WOW!! I have not taken care of toddlers for 20 years! All of a sudden, we have a 4 year old boy, and a 2 year old girl.

Since I retired nearly 18months ago I have written a diary which is very useful if I need to recall what day I did something or went somewhere. However the diary is fairly factual and it wasn't until I started thinking about Christmas that I remembered I could read my SoGrand Blog about last year!

I haven't written a Blog for ages. I suppose it's because I've been a hands on grandma recently. My newest granddaughter is just about 5 months old now so I have been quite a welcome 'extra pair if hands' for my daughter and have been able to do all the fun things with my 'soon to be 3' little
